What the Steak is for
The Steak is a tier 8 food that costs ~$1.5Qa. Food does not change how far you throw – that is Throw Power – but it decides how lucky the roll is once an animal arrives. I use the Steak for Winter and Prehistoric Forest, which needs about 1,250 – 1,500 Throw Power.
It shares tier 8 with Fillet, Royal Steak. When the next tier is close, skip same-tier foods and save for it.
At ~$1.5Qa it costs about 26x the Fillet ($57T). Buy it once your throws already reach Winter – food bought before you can land there only improves rolls in zones you have already filled.
