Luck, Mutations & Sizes

Every catch is three rolls in one: which animal from the zone's index, which mutation, and which size. Luck drives all three. This page explains where luck comes from and what every result means.

How the luck roll works

While your food is flying, a luck multiplier counts up on screen. It grows with distance – a max-power throw to the end of the map reaches about 50x – and the food tier adds more. When the food lands, a score counter rolls through the luck tiers below. The tier it stops on decides how rare the result can be, and the catch card shows the final odds (for example “1 in 2.4B”).

Luck tierWhat it usually means
LuckyThe roll animation starts. Anything up to roughly 1 in 100.
Super LuckyUncommon variants, usually a Gold or a bigger size.
Insane LuckRolls in the thousands to hundreds of thousands.
Legendary LuckSix- to nine-digit odds; most Diamond/Ruby/Emerald catches land here.
Godly LuckBillion-plus odds – Rainbow and Titanic territory.
ImpossibleThe top of the roll. Reserved for things like Gigantic Rainbow late-zone animals.

A long build-up animation means something rare is coming. Common catches can be skipped; when the skip button is missing, the animal is new to your index or the roll is a big one.

Ways to raise luck

  • Throw further. Land on the far edge of a zone, not just across its border.
  • Better food. Each tier shifts the roll up.
  • Lucky Throws. 100x luck, auto-perfect power and a Best-of-30 roll on mutation and size. See the luck guide.
  • Server boosts. Server Luck (2x–16x, since removed from the shop) and admin events (up to 32x) stack on top.

Mutations

A mutation recolours the animal and multiplies its income. From weakest to strongest:

Normal ×1

No mutation. The base income of the species.

Gold ×1.5

The most common mutation. Gold-tinted body and a solid income bump.

Diamond ×3

Light-blue crystal skin. A clear step up from Gold.

Emerald ×5

Green gem skin. Rarer than Diamond and worth about 5x a plain catch.

Ruby ×10

Red gem skin. Rarer and stronger than Emerald.

Rainbow ×20

The best mutation (about 0.5% base). Animals glow through every colour.

The multipliers come from comparing the same species side by side: a Seal is $62M plain, $93M Gold (×1.5), $124M Big (×2), $1.29B Ruby Big (×10 ×2) and $22.1B Huge Rainbow with 2x Cash (×20 ×9 ×2). Every animal page has a full mutation × size table worked out from its plain income.

Sizes

Size is rolled separately from the mutation, and bigger is always better. The game's size ladder:

#SizeIncome ×Notes
1Normal≈×1Standard model size.
2Big≈×2The first size step; very common on lucky throws.
3Large≈×4.3One step above Big. Often comes with a Gold or gem mutation on Super Lucky rolls.
4Huge≈×9Clearly bigger and a big income jump.
5Colossal≈×18.5Towers over normal animals.
6Gigantic≈×37Big enough to cover half your base.
7TitanichigherLong thought to be the cap. Still not the top.
8MonstroushigherAbove Titanic. A Monstrous Waste Harvester is a 1 in 65B roll.
9CosmichigherAbove Monstrous. 1 in 384B on the Waste Harvester.
10InfinitehigherListed in the shop's odds panel as the biggest size in the game.

Big animals take up real space on your base – a Gigantic Polar Bear will stand on top of everything else. That is purely visual; slots, not space, are what limit your base.

Putting it together

The best possible catch is the zone's rarest animal, with the Rainbow mutation, at the biggest size. The odds multiply: a Huge Rainbow Gorilla is 1 in 420M, a Titanic Diamond Phoenix is 1 in 2.4B, and a Cosmic Waste Harvester is 1 in 384B. The luckiest catch on the leaderboard is around 1 in 89.5 quintillion.
