What the Mutant Melon is for
The Mutant Melon is a tier 17 Supreme food that costs ~20 Td. Food does not change how far you throw – that is Throw Power – but it decides how lucky the roll is once an animal arrives. I use the Mutant Melon for Nuclear Wasteland, which needs about 6,500 – 7,000+ Throw Power.
It shares tier 17 with Toxic Donut, Atomic Pizza, Uranium Cake. When the next tier is close, skip same-tier foods and save for it.
At ~20 Td it costs about 20x the Toxic Donut (~1 Td). Buy it once your throws already reach Nuclear Wasteland – food bought before you can land there only improves rolls in zones you have already filled.
