Waste Harvester

The rarest animal in the newest zone and the best animal in the game right now. A plain one is only about 1 in 3,000–5,000 with good luck; the size rolls are where it gets absurd.

Where to catch the Waste Harvester

The Waste Harvester lives in Nuclear Wasteland (zone 17 of 17), on the far edge of the zone. It is number 8 of 8 in the Nuclear Wasteland index – the very top. A full-strength throw needs roughly 6,500 – 7,000+ Throw Power to land in Nuclear Wasteland.

Foods that land here: Toxic Donut (~1 Td), Mutant Melon (~20 Td), Atomic Pizza, Uranium Cake (~9 Qad). A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Nuclear Wasteland list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.

Plain throws rarely produce the top animal of a zone. Use the best food you can afford, land the throw on the far edge of Nuclear Wasteland, and save lucky throws for it. Already past Nuclear Wasteland? Lower throw strength with the gear icon so the food lands here again.

Is it worth keeping?

  • Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.
