Winter
Huskies, Goats, Mammoths and Polar Bears. A Gigantic Polar Bear (1 in 996K) can carry you deep into the mid game on its own. The Saber-tooth Tiger is the rarest Winter animal.

What Winter looks like
Snowfields and ice.
Reaching Winter is a big jump: the very first animal you usually catch here, the Husky ($300B/s), already earns about 3.0x a plain Fenrir, the best animal of Taiga.

Ordered the way the zone fills up: front of the zone first, the rarest animal last. “Plain” is a Normal-size catch with no mutation and no 2x Cash. Click an animal for its mutation/size income table and every catch I have recorded.

Best food for Winter
Recommended: Fillet, Steak. Food does not change how far you throw – Throw Power does – but a higher-tier food rolls rarer animals, mutations and sizes once you land here.
| Food | Tier | Rarity | Price | Lands in |

Tips for Winter
- Fillet is the Winter bait of choice; cold-zone animals bite on it well and it is the cheapest way to reach the far edge of Winter.
- Gigantic and bigger animals physically cover your base. That is cosmetic – income is all that matters.
- Hunting the Saber-tooth Tiger: land on the far edge of Winter with your best food and save lucky throws for it. If you are already past Winter, turn throw strength down with the gear icon.
- Move on once your throws reach Prehistoric Forest (1,500 – 1,850 power) – even its commonest animal beats almost everything here.
