Hell

Imps, Demons, Gargoyles and Hellhounds. The Cerberus is the rarest Hell animal. Most players fly straight over Hell once Lava Steak (Tier 11, Divine) is bought.

What Hell looks like

Lava rivers and black rock.

Reaching Hell is a big jump: the very first animal you usually catch here, the Gargoyle ($30Qa/s), already earns about 9.7x a plain Mosasaurus, the best animal of Deep Waters.

All 4 Hell animals

Ordered the way the zone fills up: front of the zone first, the rarest animal last. “Plain” is a Normal-size catch with no mutation and no 2x Cash. Click an animal for its mutation/size income table and every catch I have recorded.

Income curve

Plain income from the first Hell animal to the best (log scale). The Imp earns 2x the Gargoyle.

Best food for Hell

Recommended: Amber Bacon, Lava Steak. Food does not change how far you throw – Throw Power does – but a higher-tier food rolls rarer animals, mutations and sizes once you land here.

Tips for Hell

  • Hell catches are a short stop – one Lava Steak upgrade plus a couple of bar upgrades will move you to Ancient Ruins.
  • Hunting the Cerberus: land on the far edge of Hell with your best food and save lucky throws for it. If you are already past Hell, turn throw strength down with the gear icon.
  • Move on once your throws reach Ancient Ruins (2,450 – 2,800 power) – even its commonest animal beats almost everything here.
