Where to catch the Bull
The Bull lives in Mountains (zone 6 of 17), around the middle of the zone. It is number 4 of 7 in the Mountains index. A full-strength throw needs roughly 880 – 1,000 Throw Power to land in Mountains.
Foods that land here: Mushroom ($30B), Bacon (~$150B). A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Mountains list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.
Any throw that lands around the middle of the zone can produce it. If you are hunting it for the index, lower your throw strength with the gear icon until the food lands on that spot – distance inside a zone decides which animals can come.
Is it worth keeping?
- A plain Bull earns 16x a plain Seal, the best animal from Ocean.
- The best plain earner here is the Griffin ($2.5B/s), 2.5x this one.
- The first animal in Taiga, the Cockatrice, makes 8x as much – once your throws reach Taiga, replace it.
- Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.
Bull income by mutation and size
A plain Bull makes $1B/s. Mutations and sizes multiply that number, and the two stack. The table below multiplies the plain income by the multipliers I have measured (Gold ×1.5, Diamond ×3, Emerald ×5, Ruby ×10, Rainbow ×20; Big ×2, Large ≈×4.3, Huge ≈×9, Colossal ≈×18.5, Gigantic ≈×37). Treat the size columns as estimates – real catches land a little above or below. With the 2x Cash gamepass every number doubles.
| Mutation \ Size | Normal×1 | Big×2 | Large×4.3 | Huge×9 | Colossal×18.5 | Gigantic×37 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal×1 | $1B | $2B | $4.3B | $9B | $18.5B | $37B |
| Gold×1.5 | $1.5B | $3B | $6.45B | $13.5B | $27.8B | $55.5B |
| Diamond×3 | $3B | $6B | $12.9B | $27B | $55.5B | $111B |
| Emerald×5 | $5B | $10B | $21.5B | $45B | $92.5B | $185B |
| Ruby×10 | $10B | $20B | $43B | $90B | $185B | $370B |
| Rainbow×20 | $20B | $40B | $86B | $180B | $370B | $740B |
Bull catches I've recorded
Real catch cards. Odds are the “1 in …” number the card shows, which already includes the luck of that throw.
