Where to catch the Wraith
The Wraith lives in Phantom Harbor (zone 16 of 17), around the middle of the zone. It is number 4 of 6 in the Phantom Harbor index. A full-strength throw needs roughly 4,900 – 6,500 Throw Power to land in Phantom Harbor.
Foods that land here: Hot Cider, Golden Pumpkin, Ghost Strudel, Ghost Chowder ($18Ud), Calamari Rings, Phantom Lobster. A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Phantom Harbor list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.
Any throw that lands around the middle of the zone can produce it. If you are hunting it for the index, lower your throw strength with the gear icon until the food lands on that spot – distance inside a zone decides which animals can come.
Is it worth keeping?
- A plain Wraith earns 80000x a plain Scarecrow, the best animal from Harvest Fields.
- The first animal in Nuclear Wasteland, the Sludge Mimic, makes 200000x as much – once your throws reach Nuclear Wasteland, replace it.
- Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.
Wraith income by mutation and size
A plain Wraith makes $8Dc/s. Mutations and sizes multiply that number, and the two stack. The table below multiplies the plain income by the multipliers I have measured (Gold ×1.5, Diamond ×3, Emerald ×5, Ruby ×10, Rainbow ×20; Big ×2, Large ≈×4.3, Huge ≈×9, Colossal ≈×18.5, Gigantic ≈×37). Treat the size columns as estimates – real catches land a little above or below. With the 2x Cash gamepass every number doubles.
| Mutation \ Size | Normal×1 | Big×2 | Large×4.3 | Huge×9 | Colossal×18.5 | Gigantic×37 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Normal×1 | $8Dc | $16Dc | $34.4Dc | $72Dc | $148Dc | $296Dc |
| Gold×1.5 | $12Dc | $24Dc | $51.6Dc | $108Dc | $222Dc | $444Dc |
| Diamond×3 | $24Dc | $48Dc | $103Dc | $216Dc | $444Dc | $888Dc |

| Rainbow×20 | $160Dc | $320Dc | $688Dc | $1.44Ud | $2.96Ud | $5.92Ud |
Wraith catches I've recorded
Real catch cards. Odds are the “1 in …” number the card shows, which already includes the luck of that throw.
| Variant | Odds | Income |
|---|---|---|
| Big Diamond | 1 in 27,889 | $49.8Dc/s |
| Colossal | 1 in 4B | $5.93Ud/s |
