Where to catch the Seal

The Seal lives in Ocean (zone 5 of 17), on the far edge of the zone. It is number 9 of 9 in the Ocean index – the very top. A full-strength throw needs roughly 720 – 880 Throw Power to land in Ocean.

Foods that land here: Croissant ($650M), Chocolate ($3.2B). A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Ocean list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.

Plain throws rarely produce the top animal of a zone. Use the best food you can afford, land the throw on the far edge of Ocean, and save lucky throws for it. Already past Ocean? Lower throw strength with the gear icon so the food lands here again.

Is it worth keeping?

  • A plain Seal earns 41x a plain Gorilla, the best animal from Jungle.
  • The first animal in Mountains, the Llama, makes 3.2x as much – once your throws reach Mountains, replace it.
  • Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.

Seal income by mutation and size

A plain Seal makes $62M/s. Mutations and sizes multiply that number, and the two stack. The table below multiplies the plain income by the multipliers I have measured (Gold ×1.5, Diamond ×3, Emerald ×5, Ruby ×10, Rainbow ×20; Big ×2, Large ≈×4.3, Huge ≈×9, Colossal ≈×18.5, Gigantic ≈×37). Treat the size columns as estimates – real catches land a little above or below. With the 2x Cash gamepass every number doubles.

Seal catches I've recorded

Real catch cards. Odds are the “1 in …” number the card shows, which already includes the luck of that throw.
