Where to catch the Nightmare
The Nightmare lives in Shadow Realm (zone 14 of 17), on the far edge of the zone. It is number 7 of 7 in the Shadow Realm index – the very top. A full-strength throw needs roughly 3,300 – 3,900 Throw Power to land in Shadow Realm.
Foods that land here: Dragon Apple ($186Sx), Starlight Donut, Glow Shroom, Sundae Tower. A higher-tier food pushes the roll toward the rarer end of the Shadow Realm list, so the newest food you own is always the best bait.
Plain throws rarely produce the top animal of a zone. Use the best food you can afford, land the throw on the far edge of Shadow Realm, and save lucky throws for it. Already past Shadow Realm? Lower throw strength with the gear icon so the food lands here again.
Is it worth keeping?
- Keep it longer only if it rolled a strong mutation or size (see the table below) or you need it for the index.
